Description
Oil-Rite manufactures Lubrication Systems specifically to customer requirements. All systems are engineered, designed, manufactured and fully tested at Oil-Rite. This is an example of a custom built Circulating Oil System.
The flow rate of this Circulating Oil System is 8 gallons per minute at 35 PSI. The TEFC, 935 RPM, 1 HP motor is operated by 3 phase power at 400V/50Hz.
Heaters can maintain a certain liquid temperature and assist in cold weather start-ups. This Circulating Oil System features a 3000 watt screw plug immersion type heater that operates with the same voltage as the motor. The integral thermostat is adjustable from 60° to 250° F. The heater is housed in a Nema 4 enclosure.
The 30 gallon tank is constructed with welded steel. A top filler cap makes filling the tank quick and simple. The filler cap is equipped with an air filter and liquid strainer to help maintain liquid quality. A baffle in the tank separates sediment and reduces turbulence. There is a 10 micron in-line filter and 100 mesh stainless steel suction filter inside the reservoir to filter larger debris. A liquid level gage on the outside of the tank with a 2” diameter stainless steel thermometer displays temperatures from 0° to 250° F and allows visual check of liquid level and condition at a glance.
There are (2) 1/2” female NPT drains on the bottom of the unit with pipe plugs installed; the drains are extended with pipes at a 90° angle to allow easy access. There are also (2) 1” female NPT returns, one on the front of the unit and one on the back of the unit. Both returns have a pipe plug installed.
Additional controls include:
- A bronze check valve located at the outlet allows fluid flow in only one direction.
- An automatic bypass relief valve is used to set system output pressure and is adjustable from 7 to 35 PSI.
- A stainless steel pressure gage displays 0 to 160 PSI.
- A pressure switch located near the system outlet is adjustable from 0-30 PSID.
- A temperature switch is adjustable from 75° to 205° F.
- A low level switch in the reservoir can be wired to shut down machinery or turn on warning devices when the liquid supply fails or recedes to a predetermined level.
All Circulating Oil Systems are quoted specifically to customer requirements. Pricing can be determined only after the Circulating Oil System Request Form (found on this page) is completed. Contact the bearing manufacturer for information on the flow rate and fluid required.
Delivery is dependent upon supplier availability, lead times range from 4 to 10 weeks.
